Floorball is considered to be very similar to ice hockey and field hockey. Officially an indoor sport but can be and is played outdoors. A team can consist of up to 20 players and a couple of goalies.

Recommended size of the field is 40 mtrs long and 20 mtrs wide with a rink 50cm in height with rouded corners. Just a bit bigger than a basketball court. Floorball can be played with minor modifications. For example on  a tennis court, squash court, basketball court and with no goalies.

The movement of floorball is done by running and it can be compared to basketball. The nature of the game is also very safe because no body contact is allowed. This makes Floorball a great game for women, men, mixed teams and children.
